How did it/will it impact the world?
- Tom Hanks is viewed by many as the best actor in the last fifty years. His movies have grossed over eight billion dollars worldwide.
Why is there still interest in it today, or why will there continue to be interest in it?
- As long as Hanks continues to be a great actor, we will always have an interest in him! The words “Tom Hanks” and “One of my favorite movies” will always go hand in hand.
Why are you interested in researching this topic?
- I have absolutely loved movies since as far back as I can remember, and I can honestly say they are my passion. I can easily say that I’ve seen over eight-hundred movies, and Tom Hanks is the star in my all-time favorite: Saving Private Ryan
How do you personally connect with this topic?
- I don’t really have any type of personal connection to Mr. Hanks, I’m more of an admirer. Resources
What resources do you think will be useful to you? Specific books? Series of books? Magazines? Periodicals? Interviews? Internet sites? Films? Other?
-I feel as if I would mostly have to use the Internet. Along with the Internet, there have been biographies as well as many newspaper/magazine articles written about him over the years. I could always just watch his movies as well!

Of your two topic choices, which one do you think you will find the most information about? Please explain.
- I’m sure I will have no problem finding plenty of information reguarding John Lennon or Tom Hanks, but I feel as if I have a stronger connection to John Lennon. Tom Hanks is definitely a great actor, but John Lennon has written over five-hundred songs, and is one of the greatest rock stars of all time. I should have little trouble finding whatever it is I want to find out about John Lennon.
Of your two topic choices, which one do you really like the best? Please explain.
-Definitely John Lennon. Tom Hanks stars in my all-time favorite movie, and movies are a passion of mine, but Mr. Lennon wins. As I have said before, I have been listening to him since I was about a month old, and he, along with The Beatles, will always be a very big part of my lfie.
